UniCredit’s new digital Academy for Italian startups

A selection of 60 Italian startups join this year’s Startup Academy until the end of October

Every Friday from 24 September until the end of October, representatives from 60 Italian startups selected by UniCredit are being offered a unique opportunity to learn and grow, thanks to our Startup Academy initiative, part of the bank’s wider Start Lab project, launched seven years ago.

The budding companies from the life sciences, cleantech, digital and innovation sectors, were all founded in Italy. They will attend a cycle of seven virtual lessons and one-to-one sessions with some experienced professionals. During the programme they will reflect on key aspects of their business life cycle, strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and network with some of the main players in the international innovation ecosystem, including representatives from Accenture, PwC, Egon Zehnder, Google and LinkedIn, as well as with universities, incubators, and venture capital firms.

This year’s Startup Academy, the first fully digital edition, kicked off last week with the startups introducing themselves and exploring scenarios in which they may find themselves in the future.

The initiative demonstrates the bank’s willingness to support innovation and young entrepreneurs, helping them to grow their business with the help of expert advice and solutions that highlight our mission of constantly trying to be part of the solution.
