La Nuvola in Rome Convention Center
From 23 to 25 October 2019 will be held at the Convention Center La Nuvola in Rome the Congress EBN, the annual event of the Association founded in 1984 by the European Commission to promote the creation of new businesses, provide technical support to start-ups, spin-offs and innovative entrepreneurs.
Over three days of conference sessions, workshops, pitching sessions, matchmaking and networking activities, participants from all over the world will explore new ways of running local innovative ecosystems and incubators involving investors and corporates.
Every year the Congress is hosted in one of the member countries of the network. This year it will be the Lazio Region through Lazio Innova to organize the event together with EBN, to create a great opportunity for sharing and exchange, as well as reflection on the current challenges affecting entrepreneurship and innovation in a European context.
The program of the event includes many moments of confrontation, including forums, round tables and sessions of meetings between companies. About 40 stands will host as many startups, both from Lazio and Europe, carefully selected during a call managed by EBN.
EBN represents 240 certified organizations (EU|BIC Quality): currently 40 countries are involved in the network, including Incubators, Innovation Centers, Science and Technology Parks, Development Agencies, Government Organizations and other relevant actors for the development and growth of the business sector.
The many projects carried out, both at regional and European level, in collaboration with the European Union, the United Nations and the World Bank, have made EBN one of the reference points in terms of innovation, economic progress and networking opportunities among partners.
