Italy–U.S.: Forum on Investment, Science, and Innovation in Miami

On May 15, 2026, Miami will host the “Italy–United States Business, Investment, Science and Innovation Forum”, an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Farnesina) in collaboration with Italian institutions in the United States. The Forum aims to strengthen economic, scientific, and technological cooperation between Italy and the United States.

The event will bring together businesses, institutions, and research centers from both countries, focusing on innovation, advanced industries, renewable energy, and Made in Italy products. The Forum represents a strategic opportunity to consolidate the Italian presence in the U.S. market and promote cutting-edge technological projects.

“We warmly welcome the Italian government’s focus on Miami,” said Fabio De Furia, president of the Miami Scientific Italian Community. “This is where Italian innovation takes shape and grows, with projects and technologies ready to compete globally. Our experience shows how crucial a medium- to long-term strategy for research and innovation is to multiply opportunities and strengthen Italy’s presence in the United States.”

The Forum takes place within a context of growing bilateral relations and aims to foster new pathways for collaboration and investment between the two countries, confirming Italy’s role as an innovative and competitive international partner.
