Gianluca Spallotta has been elected President of RetImpresa, Confindustria’s agency for business networks and aggregations, for the 2026–2030 four-year term.
Elected unanimously by the General Assembly during its meeting on October 14, 2026, at the Confindustria headquarters in Rome, Spallotta succeeds Fabrizio Landi, who led the agency for the past six years. Spallotta previously served as RetImpresa’s Vice President during Landi’s tenure.
The new presidency aims to strengthen RetImpresa’s role within the Confindustria system by driving supply chain development, open innovation, and structured collaboration among startups, SMEs, and large corporations.
Spallotta is the legal representative of QUARK Srl, a company specializing in environmental health and sanitation services. He also serves as President of the Horeca Group business network, is a board member of RID (Rete Italiana Disinfestazioni), and holds multiple positions within the Confindustria system, including seats on the General Council of Confindustria Ancona, the Technical Committee for the Maritime Economy, and the Council for Port Representation.
“Our goal is to make business networks an increasingly practical tool for growth and innovation, fostering collaboration between startups, SMEs, and large enterprises, and developing supply chain projects,” Spallotta stated. “We will build on the work accomplished by Fabrizio Landi, focusing on Open Innovation, partnering closely with Piccola Industria and Confindustria system associations, and actively engaging our members. Furthermore, we will continue to invest in key initiatives such as the ROCK project, joint-employment frameworks (codatorialità), and the activities of the National Business Networks Observatory.”
The newly appointed leadership team will include three Vice Presidents: John Bertazzi (President of Ance Lombardia), Anna Del Sorbo (Vice President of Piccola Industria Confindustria), Giuseppe Maiellare (member of the General Council of Unindustria Lazio), who has been granted the mandate for Corporate Relations.
Outgoing President Fabrizio Landi will assume the role of Past President, retaining the mandate for Open Innovation and Startups to ensure strategic continuity and support the agency’s future growth.
