He is the the founder and the managing director of X3Energy

Giovanni Baroni, president of Piccola Industria of the Emilia-Romagna and delegate for Sustainable Energy and Circular Economy of Piccola Industria, is the new president of Piccola Industria of Confindustria. He has been elected by the Central Council of Piccola Industria of Confindustria for the two-year period 2021-2023. As such, he joins by right the team of President Carlo Bonomi as vice-president of Confindustria.

The new president was born in Parma 48 years ago, he graduated in Civil Engineering, he is married with two children and he is the founder and CEO of X3Energy .

He holds  positions in several subsidiaries belonging to the group.

X3Energy was founded in 2010 and active in the energy sector, in particular in plants and services for energy efficiency, X3Energy Spa also operates in the construction and management of plants for the road distribution of methane and compressed biomethane in Italy and the United States.
