Confindustria Novara Vercelli Valsesia: Carlo Robiglio Appointed President

His appointment will be ratified at the Annual Assembly, scheduled for June 6 in Novara

Carlo Robiglio has been appointed President of Confindustria Novara Vercelli Valsesia (CNVV) for the 2025-2029 term. The decision was made by CNVV’s General Council during its meeting on May 13, 2025. His appointment is pending ratification at the upcoming Annual Assembly, scheduled for June 6 in Novara. The event will feature several prominent guests, including the President of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio; the Minister of Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin; and the President of Confindustria, Emanuele Orsini.

Born in 1963, Robiglio is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Ebano, a benefit corporation. After earning a law degree, he founded Interlinea publishing house in 1992, known for its strong cultural focus and commitment to the local area. Over the years, he expanded into companies specializing in innovative training, communication, and the digital economy. Starting in 2014, through Cef Publishing (later sold to the Spanish group Davante), the Ebano Group became a national leader in the field of professional training courses delivered through distance learning and social learning platforms. The group has also invested heavily in acquiring various startups and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.

A long-standing advocate within the Confindustria system, Robiglio has held numerous leadership roles over the years. He served as President of the Young Entrepreneurs and later of the Small Business divisions of both the Industrial Association of Novara and Confindustria Piemonte. He went on to become President of Confindustria’s national Small Business division and served as National Vice President of Confindustria from 2017 to 2021.

A respected member of the International Advisory Board of the Miami Scientific Italian Community, Robiglio also sat on the Board of Directors of the media group Il Sole 24 Ore, where he served as Chairman for part of his first term and later as Vice Chairman. Since 2017, he has been the representative for Eastern Piedmont for the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. In 2019, he was awarded the title of Commendatore of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

“I’m grateful to Gianni Filippa, who has been both a mentor and a source of inspiration,” said Robiglio shortly after the General Council vote. “In the coming days, I’ll focus on forming the new CNVV Presidential Council. I’m well aware that association life requires many days fully dedicated to one’s ‘community,’ but this kind of commitment has become a part of who I am. I’m truly pleased to take on this new role – one I hope to fulfill to the best of my ability, bringing with it a wealth of ideas and passion.”

A passionate reader, Robiglio has authored and edited several publications on the world of small and medium-sized enterprises, including Uno sguardo oltre l’impresa (Interlinea), Doppia Accelerazione (Guerini Next), and Dialogo sulla piccola impresa (Il Mulino). He also served as editor-in-chief of L’Imprenditore, the national magazine of Confindustria’s Small Business division.

He currently sits on the boards of LIUC – Cattaneo University, Sistemi Formativi Confindustria, and the Fondazione della Comunità del Novarese. He is also a member of the National Committee of UNICEF Italy, and serves on the General Councils of Confindustria, Anitec-Assinform, the Association of Cultural and Creative Industries, and the Central Committee for Confindustria’s Small Business division.
