The National Research Council of Italy (CNR) is among the founding partners of the Miami Scientific Italian Community (MSIC), a bridge between Italy’s and the United States’ research systems. The MSIC was founded to connect Italian researchers, universities, research centers, companies and institutions, fostering collaboration between Italy and the United States in the fields of science, innovation and technology transfer.

Through its Tecnology Transfer Office, the CNR works with MSIC to promote strategic collaborations, create new opportunities for Italy’s innovation ecosystem, support entrepreneurship and advance the internationalization of startups. In this context, MSIC’s established presence in Miami represents a strategic asset for supporting the valorization of CNR research results and opportunities for collaboration with U.S. companies and investors.

Italian partners also include Unindustria Roma–Frosinone–Latina–Rieti–Viterbo, Sapienza University of Rome, and numerous other research centers, universities and stakeholders within Italy’s national innovation ecosystem.
