The Knowledge Share 2.0 launch event is aimed at presenting the new Knowledge Share 2.0 platform.
At the event-which will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the headquarters of the CNR-National Research Council in Rome – the new features and content will be explored in depth-with a special focus on the spin-off section: an implementation of great prominence especially for the world of current innovation. The initiative – with a strong institutional character – will be open to the public, will take place in presence, free of charge, and will last only one day.
The event is aimed at all stakeholders in Innovation and Technology Transfer both from the perspective of public research (Universities, Research Centers and IRCCS) and from the perspective of the Italian entrepreneurial fabric (SMEs, large companies, investors, etc.).
Knowledge Share is a joint project of Associazione Netval, the Ministry of Made In Italy – Patents and Trademarks Office and the Politecnico di Torino that aims to be a meeting point for Italian companies to find knowledge developed by university research and Research Centers, which can be the subject of concrete application. The project is funded within the ITALIAN RESTORATION AND RESILIENCE PLAN (NEXTGENERATIONEU).
NETVAL Association – Network for the Enhancement of Research, represents the Italian network of Technology Transfer and Third Mission offices of public research. It was founded in 2002 as an informal network among 28 universities. In 2007, the Association with legal personality and nonprofit purpose is established. Today it has 104 members including universities, EPRs – Public Research Institutions, IRCCSs – Scientific Hospitalization and Treatment Institutes and other entities working in the field of innovation promotion and technology transfer.
The launch event will be held with the presentation of the new platform “KS 2.0,” moments of discussion on the world of innovation with focus on research spin-offs, the big news of the new version, and finally moments of networking during the standing lunch with catering closing the day.
