From September 14 to 18, 2026, the historic San Gallo Cloister at Sapienza University of Rome (Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering, Via Eudossiana 18) will host NanoInnovation 2026. To accommodate global attendees, the conference will feature a hybrid format, allowing participants to join either in person or remotely.

As Italy’s leading multidisciplinary gathering for the nanotechnology sector, this flagship event promotes the integration of micro- and nanotechnologies with other Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) across diverse scientific and industrial applications.

What to Expect at the 2026 Edition

Co-organized by AIRI and the NanoItaly Association, this year’s lineup features a packed schedule of collaborative and highly specialized sessions:

• • Thematic Workshops: Focused tracks covering critical fields, including energy transition technologies, next-generation functional semiconductors, and nanomaterial safety and characterization.
  • YoungInnovation: A dedicated, semi-independent forum focusing on career development and mentoring for young researchers under the age of 35.
  • Breakout Sessions: Fast-paced, parallel tracks designed to move away from the main stage and encourage close networking and direct discussion among peers.
  • Exhibition Area: A vibrant space showcasing leading corporations, SMEs, universities, and research centers specializing in micro-nano electronics, nanomedicine, and agri-food.

Registration and Contributions

Attendee registration and the official call for contributions are currently open. Scientists, industry professionals, and innovators are invited to submit session proposals, topics of interest, and speaker suggestions through the official submission platform.
