President De Furia visited the Biotechnology Laboratories at ENEA’s Casaccia Research Center, where he was welcomed by Maria Teresa Mancuso, Head of the Biotechnology Division, and accompanied by Claudia Brunori, Director of ENEA’s SSPT Department.

The visit highlighted the strategic role of biotechnology in advancing the circular economy, the bioeconomy, and the ecological transition. Discussions also addressed key aspects of bilateral relations and priorities on the international agenda, underscoring the importance of biotechnological research in tackling future environmental, health, and industrial challenges.
