Tech Share Day 2020 (TSD) is the exclusively digital event dedicated to the BioMed and BioTech Sector scheduled from the 11th to the 13th November, 2020. This event aims to bring together the leading experts from the academic and industrial world for the promotion of the University-Industry collaborations and alliances in the Biomedical field. The initiative is promoted by Netval, UIBM, ( Italian Patent and Trademark Office), Politecnico di Torino, and Miami Scientific Italian Community is partner of the event.

TSD 2020 will also provide the opportunity of doing networking among participants who wish to engage in further discussions with investors and researchers in order to promote the Technology development from the laboratory to the National and International Market. The event will also be an opportunity to discuss about re-ranking the production chains through competitiveness. This represents the center of the different regional policies supporting Technology Transfer and therefore, of the territories’ economic growth and its social cohesion. We will also discuss about territorial reindustrialization program.

“To relaunch and enhance the entire italian innovation ecosystem, a growth support strategy is needed to stimulate aggregation. This is possible by creating a “System” among all the actors involved in the development process such as Institutions, Research Bodies, Universities, and Enterprises with the aim of increasing productivity and competitiveness”. This is what stated Fabio De Furia, President of Miami Scientific Italian Community for the partnership presentation. He continued: “In this sense, more and more measures are needed to support the process of technological transfer, Internationalization, and access to the credit that will be able to help our technical-scientific excellence and companies to compete on a global level”.

For Shiva Loccisano, of Netval’s Steering Committee and Head of Technology Transfer and Industry Relations at Politecnico di Torino, as well as member of the International Advisory Board of MSIC “the realization of the platform www.knowledge-share.eu was the first and indispensable step for universities and research centers to have a showcase, sufficiently visible, where to exhibit their technologies and has already led to the creation of several collaborations. With Tech Share Day we want to create the opportunity for all innovators, whether they are companies, investors or others, to get directly in touch with the inventors to consolidate new relationships with a completely digital format that allows us to reach all continents thanks to the availability of content all and strictly bilingual, Italian and English“.
