The General Council of Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici has named Vittoria Carli as the Federation’s next President. The appointment was made on March 31, with Carli expected to unveil her leadership team by the end of April.
An entrepreneur and seasoned executive with extensive experience in digital and technology services, Carli currently serves as Vice President of the Federation, where she oversees digitalization and internationalization. She is also a board member and Honorary Chair of Ised S.p.A., part of Expert.ai, and Vice President of Unindustria Lazio. In addition, she holds several positions within national and international Confindustria bodies.
Her appointment comes at a time when innovative and digital services are playing an increasingly central role in the competitiveness of Italy’s industrial system. According to Confindustria, these sectors now act as a critical “intangible infrastructure” supporting industry, supply chains, and public administration.
Outlining her agenda, Carli emphasized the need for stronger and more integrated representation of the sector. “The growth of innovative and digital services is a structural driver of the country’s competitiveness,” she said, adding that her mandate will focus on strengthening high-tech service value chains and enhancing collaboration across the Federation’s network.
She identified four key strategic priorities: placing Europe at the center by deepening ties with EU institutions and international innovation ecosystems; advancing both the digital and green transitions; promoting quality and certification as industrial policy tools; and reinforcing the Federation’s system by strengthening local associations, improving supply chain integration, and expanding support for business investment and liquidity.
Carli concluded by stressing the importance of broad engagement across the Federation’s members, noting that a stronger organization will be better positioned to influence industrial policy and support ongoing economic transformation.
