The Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) is offering a postdoctoral position for a researcher with strong expertise in electroencephalography (EEG), to join a project focused on the neuro-cognitive mechanisms of human-robot interaction.
The research aims to better understand human cognitive processes during interaction with both natural and artificial agents. Using neuroscience methods and humanoid robots, the team investigates mechanisms such as attention, cognitive control, social decision-making, and the sense of agency.
This position is part of the Social Cognition in Human-Robot Interaction research line, coordinated by Prof. Agnieszka Wykowska.
