May is Small Business Month, a time to honor and celebrate the resilience, community impact, and dedicated efforts of small businesses and National Small Business Week (NSBW) is April 28th – May 4th!

There are 31.7 million small businesses across the country and play a vital role in driving the nation’s economy forward.

In Miami-Dade County, 81% of the over 83,000 private businesses have fewer than 10 employees, making Small Businesses the majority of establishments and private employers in our community.

STRIVE305 is Mayor Daniella Levine Cava‘s initiative, whose mission is to connect Miami Dade County’s small business community to educational tools for growth, access to capital, and resources to build generational wealth.

The program expands small businesses access to public and private procurement while partnering with cornerstone industries to power opportunities.
