Politecnico di Torino and DiaSorin together for the promotion of research, training and innovation projects

DiaSorin S.p.A. and Politecnico di Torino announce a collaboration agreement aimed at promoting new research, innovation, and training projects, signed today at the University in Corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24 by the Rector Guido Saracco and Ugo Gay, Senior Vice President Industrial Operations of DiaSorin.

With this agreement DiaSorin, a global leader in the field of diagnostics and life science confirms its commitment to support the training of young talents in science and technology and to foster an ongoing collaboration with the academic world, believing that promoting scientific culture and the value of science is a strategic lever for the progress of society.

The synergies that will be activated between the Politecnico di Torino and DiaSorin will focus on the realization of projects that generate excellence in the areas of research and training, closely linked to the local economic and production context. The collaboration also provides for joint participation in national, regional, European and International research calls, aimed at the common goal of promoting research and innovation, and the dissemination of scientific and technological culture within the social fabric, including through dissemination initiatives, such as conferences and other forms of communication.

Guido Saracco, Rector of the Politecnico di Torino, added: “I am sure that this agreement will bring further added value to the training of our students and the possibility to develop new research projects.
